Testing Web Forms
It is very important to test your form to make sure that it does what you want it to do.
The only way to test a form is to open the form on the www and submit it.
- If you are checking for required fields, then submit the form with no data entered to see if you can submit it or if you get error messages.
- If I have put an asterisks (*) beside a field to indicate that it is required, then make sure you get an error message when you try to submit the form with no data.
- If you have an email address required, try to enter a invalid email address. A valid email addressgenerally has @ and period so try entering just a word with out a @. You should get a error message.
