Logos

The logo should be the first thing that a visitor sees when they open a web page. Logos are usually placed in the upper left corner of the page. It should provide information about your business. A logo should be:

  • Easy to read
  • Easy to remember
  • Create a brand for the business
  • Give identity, color and interest
  • Should jpg, gif or png format
  • Should be used on all printed and electronic materials and advertising

The logo should be between 400px and 800px wide.  The height should be determined by the design of the logo.  Try to design something creative by using color and interesting fonts.

Think about:

  1. Name of the business, service or product
  2. Sslogans or tag lines
  3. Specific color schemes
  4. What are you trying to convey through the logo?

Creating Logos

Logos can be created in many different software packages.
