Cookies and Microsoft Vista
Make sure you can view the cookies folder
- Click on the Start button
- At the top select your User name to get into the user group
- Click the Organize button
- Select Folder and search options
- Click the View tab
- Choose Show hidden files and folders
- Uncheck Hide protected operating system files
- Select Yes to confirm
- OK to exit
Viewing Cookies
- Go to your User window > AppData > Roaming > Microsoft > Windows > Cookies
- You will see a list of the cookies that different sites have put on your computer
- You can delete them
- The folder named Low
- Vista with Internet Explorer 7 introduced a new security level called protected mode that stores cookies in a separate cache, which is inaccessible to normal mode processes.
