Photoshop Patterns

It is easy to add a pattern to an image in Photoshop.

Photoshop patterns are graphic images used in Photoshop and make it easy to repeated an object in Photoshop. Patterns can be used to fill backgrounds with repeated objects. Patterns are loaded into Photoshop through the patterns panel.

Open Adobe Photoshop
From the Edit menu, open Preset Manager
Choose Patterns from the drop-down menu
Press the Load Button to load the patterns .pat file
it is also preferred to add the patterns files into the patterns default path:
Local Machine: Program FilesAdobeAdobe Photoshop CS4PresetsPatterns

Search for free Photoshop patterns

Webtreats - download patterns - added 5-15-2012

The extension for pattern files is .pat
Using Vista; copy files to C:\Users\your_user_id\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Presets\Patterns
Go into Photoshop and select the layer that you have added the style.
