Photoshop Patterns
It is easy to add a pattern to an image in Photoshop.
Photoshop patterns are graphic images used in Photoshop and make it easy to repeated an object in Photoshop. Patterns can be used to fill backgrounds with repeated objects. Patterns are loaded into Photoshop through the patterns panel.
- Open Adobe Photoshop
- From the Edit menu, open Preset Manager
- Choose Patterns from the drop-down menu
- Press the Load Button to load the patterns .pat file
- it is also preferred to add the patterns files into the patterns

Adding More Patterns to Photoshop CS4
- Search for free Photoshop patterns
- Webtreats - download patterns - added 5-15-2012
- The extension for pattern files is .pat
- Using Vista; copy files to C:\Users\your_user_id\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Presets\Patterns
- Go into Photoshop and select the layer that you have added the style.
