Photoshop Hue, Saturation and Lightness
- Open an image in Photoshop and make a backup layer
- Go to the main menu bar and select Layer > New
Adjustment Layer >
Hue/Saturation...
- Photoshop adds a new adjustment layer
- Change the Hue, Saturation and LIghtness by adjusting the gauge in the Adjustment
panel.
- Hue - the pure color
- Saturation - as saturation of a color is reduced the color becomes grayer. One component in the HSL color model.
- Lightness - a measure of how light or dark a color is. One component in the HSL color model.
